4. ISO 9000 Quality Management
ISO 9000 is a set of international standards for quality management and quality assurance. These stan-
dards were developed with the goal of documenting and implementing effective quality systems within
companies. ISO standards are consistent with Agilent’s quality system; in fact, the standards within
Agilent Technologies’ Quality Maturity System (QMS) exceed the intent of ISO 9000.
