Step 7. With the average number as the active function, set the number of
averages to 25:
Press
Meas Setup, Avg Number, 25, Enter.
Annotation above the graticule shows the type of averaging, the
number of traces averaged, and the number of averages selected.
Changing most active functions restarts the averaging, as does toggling
Trace Type back and forth from Clear Write to Average. Once the set
number of sweeps completes, the analyzer continues to provide a
running average based on this set number, if the Avg Mode is set to
Exponential.
NOTE If you want the measurement to stop after the set number of sweeps,
use single sweep and the Repeat Average Mode:
Press Meas Setup, Avg Mode, Repeat, Control/Sweep, Restart, Single.
