6.1.4 Metering
The Metering function lets you select the area of the subject or frame
by which the camera measures the light to record movies.
1. Turn on the camera.
2. Press the SET (Menu) button and move the 4-Way Direction
button to highlight the Metering item. Press the SET (Menu)
button to display the submenu or touch the screen to select the
item.
3. Press the 4-Way Direction button to select Spot, Center or
Touch AE. Press the SET (Menu) button to confirm or touch the
screen to select the item.
Spot
This setting is to ensure correct exposure for the
object even if the background is very bright or
very dark.
Center
Use this setting to preserve background details
whilst letting the lighting conditions at the center
of the frame define the exposure.
Touch AE
Tap this item to correct exposure.
