1.3.2 Unpacking the Imagesetter
Tools Required:
A tool kit is packed inside the imagesetter crate. Remove the kit at Step 5 below
and check it against Figure 1-1.

A 5/8

deep socket wrench is also required.
Steps:
1. Position the crate in the location that the system will be installed. Check
for proper clearances around system as listed in Appendix A: Specifications .
Cut the shipping straps holding the crate panels to the pallet. Refer to
Figure 1-2.
2. Remove the top pad. Refer to Figure 1-2.
3. Remove the crossbars, left and right, at the top of the open crate. Refer to
Figure 1-2.
4. Remove the two (2) bottom bolts on the front and back of the crate panels.
Refer to Figure 1-2.
5. Remove the spring clips (or bolts), three on each end, from the corners of
the crate. Remove the four wooden crate panels. Refer to Figure 1-2.
