IMPAX AS300 Server hardware and software
requirements

IMPAX AS300 Servers (including single-server configurations and dedicated Curator and CD Export
servers) have specific hardware and software requirements. Where a specific manufacturer is identified,
only that manufacturer’s device is supported.

single-server configurations).

Embedded RAID (for onboard storage)RAID
DAT 72/160 tape drives, if required for SQL database backup. Oracle direct
tape backup is not supported.
Tape backup
For Oracle and larger SQL installs, network backup is preferred.
The third-party backup tool, HP Data Protector, can be used and is free when
ordering an HP tape device.
