CLOSING THE CAMERA
Before the camera is closed, the focusing ring must be returned to Infinity. The struts
remain locked until this has been done. Attempts to close the camera by force lead to
damage. When the
focusing ring has been
returned to Infinity, both
struts will readily give
way to even pressure,
and the baseboard will
return into the camera
body where it snaps
shut.
