Installing the Wireless LAN MultiPort W200
Removing the Multiport Cover
1. Turn off your computer.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer,
including AC power.
If you have a notebook computer, remove all battery pack(s)
from the computer.
3. Perform the following steps according to your computer
model.
a. Remove the Phillips screw securing the MultiPort cover
to the computer.
b. Slide the cover from its position:
■ For notebooks, slide toward the front of the
computer.
■ For desktops, slide toward the back of the computer.
c. Finally slide the cover to the right to remove it from
your computer.

Save the cover so you can reinstall it on the computer if you
choose to remove the Wireless LAN MultiPort W200 at a later
date.
