Fitting the Anti-Tip Brackets

WARNING: The range must be secured by the anti-

tip brackets supplied. Unless properly installed, the

range could be tipped by leaning on the door. Injury

might result from spilled hot liquids or from the

range itself.

• A child or adult can tip the range over and be killed.

• Verify that the anti-tip brackets are securely installed

and engaged on both sides of the range (Fig. 7-4).

• Engage the range to the anti-tip device. The stability

pins must locate beneath the brackets when the range

is in position.

• Ensure the anti-tip brackets are re-engaged when the

range is moved.

• Do not operate the range without the anti-tip device in

place and engaged.

• Failure to do so can result in death or serious burns to

children or adults.

Using the brackets and screws supplied, x the brackets to

the wall (Fig. 7-5).

Check the ant-tip devices are secure, and ensure the stability

pins locate beneath the brackets, when the range is in

position.
