Cleaning table
Cleaners listed (Table 6.1) are available from supermarkets or 
on line at www.aga-ranges.com. 
For enamelled surfaces use a cleaner that is approved for use 
on vitreous enamel. 
Regular cleaning is recommended. For easier cleaning, wipe 
up any spillages immediately.
Cooktop

Hot soapy water, non-abrasive cleaner if

Hot soapy water, soft cloth. Any 
stubborn stains, remove with gentle 
detergent. 
Stainless steel
Use AGA Chrome & Steel Cleaner and 
bu with a microber cloth.
Sides and plinth Painted surface
Hot soapy water, soft cloth. AGA Enamel 
Cleaner or AGA Chrome & Steel Cleaner 
respectively, if necessary.
Back Splash/rear grille Enamel or stainless steel
Hot soapy water, soft cloth. Cream 
cleaner, with care, if necessary.
Control panel Paint, enamel or stainless steel
Warm soapy water. Do not use abrasive 
cleaners on lettering.
Control knobs/handles & trims Mercury knobs are aluminium
Warm soapy water, soft cloth. AGA 
Chrome & Steel Cleaner if necessary.
Oven door glass/glass lid Toughened glass
Hot soapy water, non-abrasive cleaner if 
necessary.
Oven and Broiler

for chrome. Soap lled pad. Dishwasher.
