SOURce[1]:AM:STATe
Set
Query
Description
Sets or disables AM modulation. By default AM
modulation is disabled. AM modulation must be
enabled before setting other parameters.
Note
As only one mode is allowed at any one time,
other modulation modes (inc. Sweep/FSK) will be
disabled when AM modulation is enabled.
Syntax
SOURce[1]:AM:STATe {OFF|ON}
Example
SOUR1:AM:STAT ON
Enables AM modulation.
Query Syntax
SOURce[1]:AM:STATe?
Return Parameter
0
Disabled (OFF)
1
Enabled (ON)
Query Example
SOUR1:AM:STAT?
>1
AM modulation mode is currently enabled.
SOURce[1]:AM:SOURce
Set
Query
Description
Sets or queries the modulation source as internal
or external. Internal is the default modulation
source.
Note
If an external modulation source is selected,
modulation depth is limited to ± 5V from the MOD
input port on the rear panel. For example, if
modulation depth is set to 100%, then the
maximum amplitude is +5V, and the minimum
amplitude is -5V.
Syntax
SOURce[1]:AM:SOURce {INTernal|EXTernal}
Example
SOUR1:AM:SOUR EXT
Sets the modulation source to external.
