REMOVAL 1 2 3 Figure A Refer to Figure A for steps 1-6 Step 1: Remove the engine cover by lifting it upward and forward off the engine. Step 2: Disconnect the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor wire harness. 1 Step 3: Loosen the hose clamp at the MAF sensor. 2 Step 4: Un-tab the top portion of the stock filter housing. Step 5: Remove the top portion of air filter housing by pulling straight up and out of the vehicle. Step 6: Remove Stock Filter fom lower portion of the stock housing.

Step 10: Install the MAF sensor on aFe housing with two (2) each countersunk phillips screws and nylon lock nuts. Step 11: Install the seal trim on the top edges of aFe housing then install the filter.
REMOVAL 8 Figure D Refer to Figure D for steps 12-15 Step 12: Install assembled aFe housing on vehicle. Step 13: Use the factory clips to secure the aFe housing down to the vehicle. Step 14: Install aFe coupling. Step 15: Install clamps but only tighten MAF sensor side. Page 7 aFepower.
INSTALL Figure E Refer to Figure E for steps 16-17 Step 16: Install the aFe intake tube. (Turbo inlet side first). Step 17: Adjust aFe intake tube for proper fitment then tighten clamps.
INSTALL 9 Figure F Refer to Figure F for steps 18-20 Step 18: Re-Connect MAF sensor harness. Step 19: Re-install engine cover. Step 20: Installation is now complete. *Verify all connections are secure 100-200 miles after installation.
