54. Remove the temp sensor and MAP sensor from the factory intercooler
tube.
Note: Be sure to lubricate the O-rings with grease to prevent them from
tearing during install.
55. Install the temp sensor in the fitting that is labeled “T” on the aFe cold side
intercooler tube.
56. Install the MAP sensor in the fitting that is labeled “M” on the aFe cold side
intercooler tube.
57. Secure both sensors to the aFe cold side intercooler tube, using the factory
screws.
58. Install the supplied 2-1/2” x 45° coupling with one (1) of the supplied 2-7/8”
clamps onto the intercooler tube, on the end closer to the fittings.
59. Install the intercooler tube into the vehicle, first connect the lower end to
the silicone hose at the bottom with a 2-7/8” clamp, then to the throttle
body along with another 2-7/8” clamp.
60. Ensure the tubes are not touching anything then tighten all the clamps.
61. Reconnect the wire harness to the temp sensor and MAP sensor.
62. Reattach the vacuum hose to the barbed fitting on the aFe cold side
intercooler tube and secure it with the factory spring clamp.
