9. Using a strut compressor, remove the factory springs from the strut, by removing the top nut,
using a 18mm socket. Remove the upper strut mount, spring seat, and spring isolator. It is not
necessary to remove the rubber boot, or the bump stop.

1. Using a strut compressor install the stock upper rubber isolator, spring seat, strut mount spring,
and OEM strut. Using a 18 mm socket, tighten the top nut while still in strut compressor by using
a impact driver.
