SANDABLE SPRAY PRIMER

I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Description: Zynolyte Sandable Spray Primer
provides a smooth, durable, rust-inhibitive base
coat that accepts most top coats.
Benets: Sandable Spray Primer is a durable
primer that is best for auto body and parts touch-up,
either sandable or non-sandable. Compatible with
lacquers, acrylics and enamels. Offers superior
sealing and lling properties for metal surfaces
and excellent adhesion and top coat holdout. Fast
drying and lead free.
Application: Use as a preparatory coating
whenever a quality nish is desired on automotive
parts and bodies. May also be applied to machinery,
metal parts, railings, electrical motors, presses,
ship equipment, pipelines, conduit drums, or steel
bars for a smooth, even appearance. Can be used
under lacquers, acrylics and enamels.
Directions: Surface should be clean, dry and free of all
dust dirt, grease, wax, mildew, or other contaminants
that would adversely affect paint adhesion. Extremely
slick, glossy surfaces should be lightly sanded. Areas
with exposed rust should be scraped clean with a
scraper or wire brush. Cover adjacent areas to protect
from spray mist. For best results, use at temperatures
between 50° and 85°F. Avoid high humidity. Shake can
for at least one minute after rattle of agitator ball is
heard, and intermittently during use. Hold can 10-12
inches from surface to be coated, and press sprayhead
rmly. Use steady, even strokes while spraying. Two
light coats are better than one heavy coat. Wait 30 to
60 seconds between coats. Top coat can be applied
anytime after primer is dry. After spraying, turn can
upside down and press spray button for approximately
two seconds to clear paint in valve.
