INTEGRATED STANDBY INSTRUMENT (ISI)
In case NAV 1 is tuned to a valid ILS frequency, the ISI will display localizer and glideslope deviation
on the back-course approach. The use of the ISI localizer and back course information is not allowed
for back course approaches.
PNEUMATIC SYSTEM
IN FLIGHT: In case the APU as selected as a bleed source in manual mode, using the WING and / or
COWL anti-ice is prohibited.
ON THE GROUND: To prevent an engine stall or engine instability during taxi please comply to the
following items:
• APU running, prior and during taxi:
• BLEED SOURCE must be switched to BOTH ENG
• BLEED VALVES must be switched to MANUAL
• Prior to takeoff (before advancing the thrust levers further than ground idle)
• BLEED VALVES must be switched to AUTO
FLIGHT DECK DOOR
The flight deck door must be closed and locked always during the flight.
