Anchorage X
Aerosoft GmbH 2011
The original Afcad file of FSX uses the identifier LHD, for our Afcad file
we had to use PALH due to technical reasons. If you want to generate
traffic files for Lake Hood (not included) you must use PALH to define
the flight plans instead of LHD. Otherwise no traffic will show.
When flying to Lake Hood yourself you´ll discover that tools like FS
commander, the FSX map or GPS will show two airports (LHD and
PALH). This is normal and cannot be avoided under these circumstances.
AF-Files PANC/Z41/PALH Notes
Due to that PANC, PALH and Z42 are very close together it can happen
that the the FSX menu will sho w other airport names of those three
than selected. Lets say you enter PANC to select the airport you want
to start from it could happen that the menu shows “Lake Hood”
because the areas overlap.
Simply ignore this, your airplane will be placed at the right airport
(depending on the ICAO code you used)
PANC has an Afcad file which allows the use of all runways at the
same time (start design).
Take care of crossing or starting aircrafts as ATC won´t warn you!
Dynamic Ground Traffic (AES Lite) and FSX-Vehicle
Traffic.
The dynamic Ground traffic of cars, buses, etc. on the airport is controlled
intelligently.
Vehicles will recognize approaching aircraft and will most
probably stop to let them pass. This technique is based on the by
Oliver Pabst developed AESLite which is part of this scenery package.
Switch the FSX ramp traffic off in order to avoid overlapping.
This will also increase the speed.
