• When take-off clearance has been obtained PM will announce through
PA system “Cabin crew, prepare for take off.”
ENG MODE sel ............................................................................................... AS RQRD PM
• Select IGN when runway has standing water, in heavy rain
or when heavy turbulence is expected directly after takeoff.
• PACKS / APU BLEED ............................................................................. AS RQRD PM
• Deactivating packs and/or activating APU bleed ON can improve
performance (only in TOGA thrust mode) and can reduce maintenance
costs (only at lower power settings). APU BLEED is not possible when
WING ANTI ICE is used.
