IMPORTANT! If the grounded electrical outlet is not protected
by a GFCI outlet or circuit breaker, a plug-in GFCI device must
be purchased and installed.

• In the event of a temporary or extended power failure check the GFCI
device and reset if the Housing is not running.
Maintenance and Care:

. Attempts to service
this product will void warranty and expose the user to
electrical shock which may cause severe injury or death.
Tampering will void warranty.
The Diffuser may require periodic cleaning. If cleaning is required use
muriatic acid. Wear protective gear when using chemicals.
Keep the area around the Housing free of leaves and other debris. If debris
enters the product through the air intake holes, unplug the product and
carefully remove the debris. Restart the system.

Installation Notes:
1) Diffuser
a) Urban Pond™
The sintered diffuser is fragile and will crack if dropped. The diffuser
should be placed in the deepest area of the pond that is no more
than the maximum specified depth for each model. The vinyl airline
is buoyant. To keep the airline submerged, run the airline through
the hole of a masonry brick. Space the bricks about 5’ apart. Run
the airline in the shortest path towards the location of the
Compressor Housing. As an option, Aero-Stream offers weighted
airline to use in place of the vinyl airline and bricks. Call Aero-
Stream to learn more.
b) Garden Pond™, Hobbyist Pond™ & Pro Pond™
Remove the plastic plug from the top of the pan. Fill the pan with
sand or pea gravel. Replace the plug. The diffuser should be placed
in the deepest area of the pond that is no more than the maximum
specified depth for each model. Place the pan as level as possible
on the bottom of the pond. The diffusers are sensitive to head
pressure. If the pan is not level the air flow will not be balanced
causes low air flow the deepest diffuser. The vinyl airline is buoyant.

2) Compressor Housing
Locate the Housing to the closest electrical outlet on the house, garage
or power source. This product must be grounded. In the event of an
electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by
providing an escape wire for the electric current. This product is
equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with an appropriate
grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and
ordinances.
