SET WATER TYPE, information includes (Fig. 59):
> Graphics TYPE and H2O.
> Graphic SEA (or FrESH) flashing.
• S (< 2 sec) to toggle between SEA and FrESH.
• A (< 2 sec) to save the setting and access Set DSD.
• M (2 sec), or no button (2 min), to revert to SURF MAIN.
SET DSD, information includes (Fig. 60):
> Graphic DSD (meaning Dive Start Depth).
> Depth flashing, with FT (or M) icon.
• S (< 2 sec) to step upward through the Set Points of 2, 4, 6 FT (0.6, 1.2, 1.8 M) one at a time.
• M (< 2 sec) to step back through Set Points one at a time.
• A (< 2 sec) to save the setting and access Set Units.
• M (2 sec), or no button (2 min), to revert to SURF MAIN.
SET UNITS, information includes (Fig. 61):
> Graphic UNIT.
> FT icon and F graphic (or M icon and C graphic) flashing, with degrees icon
• S (< 2 sec) to toggle between Imperial (FT, F) and Metric (M, C).
• A (< 2 sec) to save the setting and access Set Backlight Duration.
• M (2 sec), or no button (2 min), to revert to SURF MAIN.
SET BACKLIGHT DURATION, information includes (Fig. 62):
> Graphics GLO and durA (meaning Backlight Duration.)
> Time (min:sec) flashing, with TIME icon.
• S (< 2 sec) to step upward through Set Points of 0:00, 0:05, 0:10, 0:30, 1:00 (min:sec) one at a time.
• M (< 2 sec) to step back through the Set Points one at a time.
• A (< 2 sec) to save the setting and access Set BDSI.
• M (2 sec), or no button (2 min), to revert to SURF MAIN.
SET BDSI, information includes (Fig. 63):
> Graphic BDSI (meaning Between Dive Surface Interval).
> Time (min:sec) flashing, with SURF and TIME icons.
• S (hold) to scroll upward through the Set Points at a rate of 8 per second from 0:01 to 1:00 (min:sec) in increments of :01 (1 sec).
• S (< 2 sec) to step upward through the Set Points one at a time.
• M (< 2 sec) to step back through the Set Points one at a time.
• A (< 2 sec) to save the setting and revert to Set U.
• M (2 sec), or no button (2 min), to revert to SURF MAIN.
SERIAL NUMBER (SN)
• A & S (2 sec), while viewing Set U, to access SN.
Information includes (Fig. 64):
> Graphic SN.
> Factory programmed Serial Number.
> Firmware (F10's) operating software) revision number (e.g., graphic r1A).
• A & S (2 sec) to revert to SURF MAIN.
• M (2 sec), or no button (2 min), to revert to SURF MAIN.
This information will be required if a unit is sent to AERIS for evaluation or service. Record it in the table provided in the
back of this manual, and retain the sales receipt.
