ROBUST FEATURES SIMPLIFY CONTROL
• Application Flexibility–Differentcongurationoptions

• Time Delay Between Boiler Start – An adjustable
time delay between boiler starts allows for a smooth
energyinputwithoutspikesinelectrical,gasorventing
conditions.
• Automatic Allowance for Maintenance – By
continuouslymonitoringthenumberofboilersavailable

oristakenoff-lineformaintenance.
• Adjustable Off Set – The BST includes a 7-day
programmable clock to support night setback and/or
dailysetbackperiods.TheBSTwillshiftfromtheoriginal
setpointtoahigherorlowertemperature.
• Two Interlock Circuits – Monitorpumps, combustion
air dampers, or other equipment using two interlock
circuitsthatmustbecompletedbeforeplantoperations
begin.
• Power Off Memory – By using non-volatile memory,
programs are retained through a shut down of more
thantwoyears.Nobatteriesrequired.
• Simple Installation – The C-MORE control system
operatesonboilerunit’sstandardpowersupply.Twisted
pair, shielded wire connections between the Master
boiler unit and slave individual boilers is required
to support communications. An RS-485 interface is
requiredtolinkanEMS.RS-485communicationswiring
supports a distance of up to 4,000 feet between BAS
andboilers.
• Flexible & Expandable–TheBSTcansupportupto
8AERCO boilers – which can be fully integrated with
any EMS or BAS software via the Modbus protocol.

• Building Reference Temperature Inputs–Boilerscan
be clamped at minimum and maximum temperatures,
andthebuildingreferencetemperatureadjustedtodrive

boiler responses to outside air changes for maximum
comfort.
• Accuracy–TheBSTusesPID(Proportional&Integral+
Derivative)andDynamicUp/DynamicDownModulation
controlalgorithmtoprovideadynamicresponsetoall
changes in plant operation. Header temperatures, as
wellaspercentageboilerinput,arepreciselycontrolled
withvirtuallynoovershootorshortcyclingofequipment.
A header temperature of ±4°F is assured during
continualplantoperation.
• “Bumpless” Energy Transfer–Whenstagingboilers

• Lead and Lag Boiler Designation – The BST will
selectthe LeadandLagboilers byeitherUnitSize or
Run Hours depending on user setting. The Lead and
Lagboilerscanalsobemanuallyselectedbytheuser.
• Lead Boiler Time Rotation – Rotates the operating
leadboileratspeciedtimeandhelpsequalizeruntime.
• Anti-Cycling Features – These features prolong the
system’s stay at specic state (ring/off) - reducing
the number of cycles while maintaining accurate
temperaturecontrol.
