3.16.5.16 Multi-venting Sidewall Terminations
When two or more direct vent appliances are vented near each other, each appliance must be
individually vented and vent terminations may be installed as shown in Figure 3-36. It is
important that vent terminations be made as shown to avoid recirculation of flue gas.

3.16.5.17 Vertical Termination – Two Pipes
Installation must comply with local requirements and with the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI
Z223.1 for U.S. installations or CSA B149.1 for Canadian installations.
