CODEC function configuration of programmable key
Depending on the particular equipment selected, the following options may vary.
RING, to select the GPI where the incoming call signal provided by the “codec” is wired.
EXTENDED, enables the option of frequency extender for the AEQ telephone hybrids
FR33 and TH02EX. Select the GPO that is used to send the remote control signal
“EXTENDED” to the hybrid.
SLOT, in the case of internal digital hybrid modules FR33, indicate the position on the
rear panel of the AEQ FORUM where it has been installed (between 1 and 14).
WAIT GPI, selects and configures the physical GPI input associated to the entry
associated physical GPI WAIT function.
WAIT GPO, selects and configures the physical GPO output associated to the WAIT
function.
GPI ONAIR, selects and configures the physical GPI input associated to the ON-AIR
function.
GPO ONAIR, selects and configures the physical GPO output associated to the ON-AIR
function.
LINE, for dual line hybrids or audio-codecs, this identifies line 1 and line 2, to assign the
different GPIs and GPOs for remote control
EDIT CONFIGURATION allows you to modify the selected configuration.
OK, accepts configuration.
CANCEL, cancels configuration.
NOTE: For Codecs it is necessary to program at least two programmable keys per channel.
One to share the GPI WAIT and RING and a GPO for WAIT. The second key should have a
GPI and a GPO for the ON-AIR function.
