Additionally channels defined in this section will force the muting or DIM of SRM
according created configuration.
• CONTROL ON AIR associates the CHANNEL ON/OFF of this channel with the
triggering of a GPO for the “ON-AIR” Lights of the Control room. Typically you would
associate this GPO to microphone channels.

4.2.3.2. Advanced settings menu output channels
Even if all configuration options and possibilities are explained hereunder, it should be taken
into account that the on-screen options may vary depending on the Input/Output module that
the logical audio channel has been configured for.
• Headers
• "FRzz Output configuration" means that we are setting the outputs of a FR"zz"-
type card
• "OUTPUT HW: xx.0y" means that we are setting the “y” output of the card
located in slot xx.
• LABEL, alphanumeric channel name. Maximum size recommended: 6 characters.
This is the name that appears in all displays and menus of the control surface AEQ
FORUM.
• DEFAULT ROUTING, associates logical output channels created with:
• Type Inputs: the different logical inputs to the console
• Type Mixer: the system internal summing buses and as described in this
manual in section - “4.2.2. BUS MIXER CONFIGURATION sub-menu”.
• STEREO/MONO, configures the logical output channel as mono or stereo.

4.2.4. MONITORING CONFIGURATION sub-menu
MONITORING sub-menu is accessed from the Internal Hardware CONFIGURATION drop-
down menu, clicking on the icon;

MONITORING CONFIGURATION This sub-menu allows you to define the operation of the
control and monitor sections associated with the control room and the studio. Please refer to
sections 2.1.2.4 and 2.1.2.5 of this manual.
