ENGLISH 3 1.1 Children and vulnerable people safety • • • • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Do not let children play with the appliance. Children shall not carry out cleaning and user maintenance of the appliance without supervision.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 2.1 Installation WARNING! Only a qualified person must install this appliance. • Remove all the packaging and the transit bolts. • Do not install or use a damaged appliance. • Follow the installation instruction supplied with the appliance. • Always take care when moving the appliance as it is heavy.

www.aeg.com 3.4 Temperature regulation To set the temperature, touch the temperature key. Every time you touch the key, the temperature increases and the corresponding LED indicator lights up. The temperature you select is saved automatically. Selection varies from +2° C to +8° C. ECO mode is the most recommended setting. When you choose the setting, remember that the temperature inside the appliance depends on: • • • • room temperature frequency of opening the door food quantity appliance location.
ENGLISH 7 4.2 Freezing fresh food 4.4 Profresh Plus The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food and storing frozen and deep-frozen food for a long time. The refrigerator compartment is equipped with a device that allows rapid cooling of food and keeps a more uniform temperature in the compartment. To freeze fresh food activate the FROSTMATIC function at least 24 hours before placing the food to be frozen in the freezer compartment.
www.aeg.com To get the best performance the filter should be changed once every 6 months. New active filter can be purchased from your local dealer or through the website. The part number is printed on the plastic bag. CAUTION! Make sure that the filter cover is always closed so that the filter functions correctly. 5. CARE AND CLEANING WARNING! The compressor does not start immediately after pressing the FROSTMATIC or after changing the temperature. This is normal, no error has occurred. The compressor starts after some time. Water flows inside the refrigerator. The water outlet is clogged. Clean the water outlet. Food products prevent water from flowing into the water collector.
ENGLISH Problem Door does not open easily. 11 Possible cause Solution Stored food was not wrapped. Wrap food in suitable packaging before storing it in the appliance. You attempted to re-open the door immediately after closing. Wait a few seconds between closing and re-opening of the door. If the advice does not lead to the desired result, contact the nearest Authorised Service Centre. Only service is allowed to replace the lighting device. Contact your Authorised Service Centre. 6.

Connect the wire coloured green and yellow to the terminal marked either with the letter “E“ or by the earth symbol or coloured green and yellow. 2.
