Do not keep the appliance door open without supervision to prevent to fall on it. Before any maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket. Do not use high pressure water sprays and/or steam to clean the appliance. The ventilation openings in the base (if applicable) must not be obstructed by a carpet.

ENGLISH 9 6. SETTINGS 6.1 Programme selection mode and user mode When the appliance is in programme selection mode it is possible to set a programme and to enter the user mode. In user mode, the following settings can be changed: • The level of the water softener according to the water hardness. • The activation or deactivation of the rinse aid empty notification. • The level of rinse aid according to the required dosage. • The activation or the deactivation of the option AirDry.
www.aeg.com Whether you use a standard detergent or multi-tabs (with or without salt), set the proper water hardness level to keep the salt refill indicator active. Multi-tabs containing salt are not effective enough to soften hard water. The appliance must be in programme selection mode. 1. To enter the user mode, press and hold simultaneously Delay and , , and start to flash and the display is blank. 2. Press Program.

Make sure that the appliance is in programme selection mode and door is closed. 2.
ENGLISH CAUTION! Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after AirDry automatically opens it, as this may cause damage to the appliance. If, afterwards, the door is closed for another 3 minutes, the running programme ends. Cancelling the delay start while the countdown operates When you cancel the delay start you have to set the programme and options again. 15 Make sure that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser before you start a new programme.

Set the highest level of the water softener. 2. Make sure that the salt and rinse aid containers are full. 3.
ENGLISH 17 11.1 Cleaning the filters The filter system is made of 3 parts. C B A 1. Turn the filter (B) counterclockwise and remove it. 5. Make sure that there are no residues of food or soil in or around the edge of the sump. 6. Put back in place the flat filter (A). Make sure that it is correctly positioned under the 2 guides. 7. Reassemble the filters (B) and (C). 8. Put back the filter (B) in the flat filter (A). Turn it clockwise until it locks. 2. Remove the filter (C) out of filter (B). 3.
www.aeg.com 11.2 Cleaning the upper spray arm We recommend to clean regularly the upper spray arm to avoid soil to clog the holes. 4. To engage again the spray arm to the basket, press the spray arm upwards in the direction indicated by the lower arrow and simultaneously turn it counterclockwise until it locks into place. Clogged holes can cause unsatisfactory washing results. 1. Pull out the upper basket. 2.

DEUTSCH Halten Sie Delay und Option gleichzeitig gedrückt, bis sich das Gerät im Programmwahlmodus befindet. 6.2 Wasserenthärter Der Wasserenthärter entfernt Mineralien aus dem Spülwasser, die sich nachteilig auf die Spülergebnisse und das Gerät auswirken könnten. Je höher der Mineralgehalt ist, um so härter ist das Wasser. Die Wasserhärte 31 wird in gleichwertigen Einheiten gemessen. Der Enthärter muss entsprechend der Wasserhärte in Ihrem Gebiet eingestellt werden.

www.aeg.com 7.1 XtraDry Schalten Sie diese Option ein, wenn Sie die Trockenleistung erhöhen möchten. Diese Option kann sich auf die Dauer einiger Programme, den Wasserverbrauch und die Temperatur des letzten Spülgangs auswirken. Die Option XtraDry bleibt permanent für alle Programme außer für eingeschaltet und muss nicht mit jedem Programm erneut ausgewählt werden. Jedes Mal, wenn eingeschaltet wird, wird die Option XtraDry ausgeschaltet und muss manuell ausgewählt werden.
DEUTSCH Wenn Sie ein Programm starten, kann es bis zu 5 Minuten dauern das Filterharz des Wasserenthärters zu regenerieren. Das Gerät scheint nicht zu arbeiten. Die Spülphase startet erst nach Abschluss dieses Vorgangs. Dieser Vorgang wird regelmäßig wiederholt. 8.1 Salzbehälter VORSICHT! Verwenden Sie nur Spezialsalz für Geschirrspüler. 35 VORSICHT! Beim Befüllen des Salzbehälters können Wasser und Salz austreten.
www.aeg.com Wenn Sie MultiReinigungstabletten verwenden und die Trocknungsleistung zufriedenstellend ist, kann die Klarspülernachfüllanzeige ausgeschaltet werden. Für eine bessere Trocknungsleistung empfehlen wir stets Klarspülmittel zu verwenden, auch wenn Sie MultiReinigungstabletten benutzen, die Klarspülmittel enthalten. 9. TÄGLICHER GEBRAUCH 1. Öffnen Sie den Wasserhahn. 2. Drücken Sie die Taste Ein/Aus, um das Gerät einzuschalten.

TIPPS UND HINWEISE 10.1 Allgemeines Die folgenden Hinweise stellen optimale Reinigungs- und Trocknungsergebnisse im täglichen Gebrauch sicher, und tragen auch zum Umweltschutz bei. • Schütten Sie größere Lebensmittelreste auf dem Geschirr in den Abfallbehälter. • Spülen Sie das Geschirr nicht von Hand vor.
DEUTSCH • Spülen Sie im Gerät keine Geschirrteile aus Holz, Horn, Aluminium, Zinn oder Kupfer. • Spülen Sie in diesem Gerät keine Gegenstände, die Wasser aufnehmen können (Schwämme, Geschirrtücher usw.). • Schütten Sie größere Lebensmittelreste auf dem Geschirr in den Abfallbehälter. • Weichen Sie eingebrannte Essensreste ein. • Ordnen Sie hohle Gefäße (z. B. Tassen, Gläser, Pfannen) mit der Öffnung nach unten ein. • Achten Sie darauf, dass Gläser einander nicht berühren.

Setzen Sie den Filter (B) in den flachen Filter (A) ein. Drehen Sie ihn nach rechts, bis er einrastet. 4. Reinigen Sie die Filter. VORSICHT! Eine falsche Anordnung der Filter führt zu schlechten Spülergebnissen und kann das Gerät beschädigen. 11.2 Reinigen des oberen Sprüharms 5.
DEUTSCH 41 11.3 Reinigen der Außenseiten • Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch. • Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Neutralreiniger. • Benutzen Sie keine Scheuermittel, scheuernde Reinigungsschwämmchen oder Lösungsmittel. 3. Reinigen Sie den Sprüharm unter fließendem Wasser. Entfernen Sie Verunreinigungen aus den Öffnungen des Sprüharms mit einem spitzen Gegenstand, z.B. einem Zahnstocher. 11.

Die Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur von qualifiziertem Personal durchgeführt werden. Bei manchen Störungen zeigt das Display einen Alarmcode an. Die meisten Störungen, die auftreten, können behoben werden, ohne dass der autorisierte Kundendienst gerufen werden muss.

So werden optimale Reinigungsergebnisse erzielt und Strom gespart. Das Programm dauert zu lang. • Wählen Sie die TimeSaver-Option, um die Programmdauer zu verkürzen. • Wenn die Zeitvorwahl eingestellt ist, brechen Sie diese ab oder warten Sie, bis sie abgelaufen ist.

Störung Mögliche Ursache und Abhilfe Nicht zufriedenstellende Spülergebnisse. • Siehe „Täglicher Gebrauch“, „Tipps und Hinweise“ sowie die Broschüre zum Beladen der Körbe. • Nutzen Sie intensivere Spülprogramme. • Reinigen Sie die Austrittsdüsen der Sprüharme und die Siebe. Siehe „Reinigung und Pflege“. Nicht zufriedenstellende Trocknungsergebnisse. • Das Geschirr stand zu lange im geschlossenen Gerät.
DEUTSCH 45 Störung Mögliche Ursache und Abhilfe Rostspuren am Besteck. • Das Spülwasser enthält zu viel Salz. Siehe „Wasserenthärter“. • Silber- und Edelstahlbesteck wurden zusammen eingeordnet. Ordnen Sie nicht Silber- und Edelstahlbesteck zusammen ein. Am Ende des Programms befinden sich Reinigungsmittelreste im Behälter. • Das Reinigungsmittel-Tab blieb im Behälter stecken und wurde daher nicht vollständig vom Wasser mitgenommen.
