1 Safety Instructions for the Installer

• A device is to be fitted in the electrical installation that makes it pos-

sible to isolate the appliance from the mains with a contact separa-

tion of at least 3 mm on all poles.

Suitable isolation devices are e.g. circuit breakers, fuses (screw-type

fuses are to be removed from the holder), earth leakage trips and

contactors.

• In respect of fire protection, the appliance corresponds to type Y

(EN 335-2-6). Only this type of appliance may be installed with a

high cupboard or wall on one side.

• Anti-shock protection must be guaranteed by the installation.

Installation with induction basins

• In combination with AEG induction basins, special installation and

combination instructions must be followed. These are supplied with

the induction basin.
