Cooking without automatic heating up
0 1. Switch on the appliance using the mains button.
The mains pilot light above the button illumi-
nates.
2. To use, press the ring switch.
The button protrudes
3. To heat up/brown, turn the ring switch and select a high power.
4. As soon as steam starts to form or the oil is hot, turn back to the heat
setting necessary for further cooking.
5. To stop cooking, turn back to the zero position.
6. The relevant ring display is still visible for approx. 3 seconds ”0“.
7. Lower the ring switch by pressing it.
8. Switch off the appliance using the mains button.
Cooking with automatic heating up
When cooking with the automatic heating up function, the cooking
zone operates at full power for a certain time and then switches back
to the set lower heat setting. The time for this ”heating up“ is calcu-
lated by the ring switch in accordance with the selected lower heat set-
ting.
0 1. If necessary, switch on the unit with the main
switch.
2. Turn the ring switch to the right as far as it will
go in order to begin heating up.
3. An A appears in the ring display ”A“.
4. Next, turn the ring switch back to the required
lower heat setting.
5. The set lower heat setting is displayed.
After a few seconds, the ”A“ appears again in
the display instead of the lower heat setting.
The lower heat setting is displayed again as
soon as the calculated time for the heating
up has expired.
6. To end the cooking, turn back to the
position ”0“.
7. If necessary, switch off the unit with the
main switch.
