Hood Width

The AEG-Electrolux Hood Range has a selection to suit all

tastes, with a range of sizes to fit all requirements.

Extraction Rates

The level at which the cooker hood clears cooking vapours

from the kitchen environment. AEG-Electrolux cooker

hoods are measured in cubic metres per hour and are

in accordance with IEC standards.

Low Noise Rating

A higher extraction without a loud noise, creating a more

peaceful kitchen environment.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL BALL Controls

the speed of the extraction, lights and

indicates the saturation of the filters.

LED DISPLAY Indicates extraction speed

and when the charcoal filter or metal

grease filter needs changing or cleaning.

AUTOMATIC SENSOR CONTROL

A combination of 3 sensors are used

to regulate the intensity of the

extraction. These sensors are hob heat,

ambient temperature and humidity.

ELECTRONIC TIMER/TIMED SETTING

Pre-set timers are incorporated into

the hood so that it switches off at a

programmed time.

REMOTE CONTROL Easy to use remote

control for the hood.

HALOGEN LIGHTS This bright white

illumination on the hood provides perfect

cooking visibility and can be used to

create softer light in the kitchen.

HOB LIGHTS This type of illumination

on the hood provides excellent

cooking visibility and can be used

to create softer light in the kitchen.

EXTENDED VAPOUR GUIDE

Pull out

extension on integrated hoods for

attachment of a furniture panel.

EXTRACTION MODE A ducting kit is

attached to the hood to extract the

cooking fumes externally, giving a

pleasant kitchen environment, which

is free from cooking odours.

RECIRCULATION MODE The hood

draws in the cooking fumes, filters

the air through the charcoal filter

then recirculates the clean air back

into the kitchen, leaving it free from

cooking odours. For those hoods that

do not come with a charcoal filter,

it is available as an accessory.

FILTERS

METAL GREASE FILTERS

The metal

filter attracts the grease from the

cooking vapours that are extracted,

reducing odours, purifying the air and

optimising performance. The filter is

washable and never needs replacing.

ACRYLIC GREASE FILTER WITH

SATURATION INDICATOR

The filter

absorbs grease from the cooking

vapours that are extracted, producing

cleaner air and reducing odours.

Diagonal lines appear when the filter

needs changing. This efficient and

simple measure maintains perfect

hood performance and extends the

hood’s life.

CHARCOAL FILTER

This charcoal filter

is used in recirculation mode to remove

cooking smells. Needs replacing

periodically.

LONGLIFE CHARCOAL FILTER

This

charcoal filter is used in recirculation

mode to remove cooking smells.

It may be washed in the dishwasher

and dried in the oven.

HOOD TYPES

DESIGNER HOOD

For those whose

initial requirement is design, with the

reassurance that AEG-Electrolux Hoods

are perfect in both Form and Function.

CHIMNEY HOOD

An attractive feature

in the kitchen, the chimney hood is

fitted & fixed between furniture or

for wall mounting.

CANOPY HOOD An attractive feature

in the kitchen, the chimney hood is

fitted &fixed into an island chimney,

corner unit or wall cupboard.

TELESCOPIC HOOD

Fitted & fixed into

a 60cm wide furniture unit, with a

shallow front cupboard. When in use

it extends outwards beyond the cabinet

and inwards for a flush finish when

not in use.

ISLAND HOOD

Suspended from

the ceiling over a cooking station,

the hood becomes the focal point of

the kitchen. It can be used with an

island unit.

INTEGRATED HOOD

Fitted & fixed

between wall units. Hidden by a

furniture door, the hood is not

visible, enhancing the appearance

of the kitchen.

STANDARD HOOD

Easy to install, it can

be fitted underneath a 60cm wide wall

cupboard. The controls are easy to

reach at the front of the hood.
