Important-Toturnoffpowertoyourrefrigerator,unplugthe
power cord from the wall outlet.
• Ifthepowercordisdamaged,itshouldbereplacedbythe
manufacturer,servicetechnicianoraqualiedpersontoprevent
any risk.
• Neverunplugtherefrigeratorbypullingonthepowercord.Always
griptheplugrmly,andpullstraightoutfromthereceptacleto
preventdamagingthepowercord.
• Unplugtherefrigeratorbeforecleaningandbeforereplacinga
lightbulbtoavoidelectricalshock.
• Performancemaybeaffectedifthevoltagevariesby10%or
more.Operatingtherefrigeratorwithinsufcientpowercan
damagethecompressor.Suchdamageisnotcoveredunderyour
warranty.
• Donotplugtheunitintoanoutletcontrolledbyawallswitch
orpullcordtopreventtherefrigeratorfrombeingturnedoff
accidentally.

INSTALLATION / REMOVING THE DOORS

Before starting the refrigerator, follow these important first steps.
Location
• Chooseaplacethatisnearagroundedelectricaloutlet.Do Not
useanextensioncordoranadapterplug.
• Ifpossible,placetherefrigeratoroutofdirectsunlightandaway
fromtherange,dishwasherorotherheatsources.
• Therefrigeratormustbeinstalledonaoorthatisleveland
strongenoughtosupportafullyloadedrefrigerator.
• Considerwatersupplyavailabilityformodelsequippedwithan
automatic ice maker.

• Allowthefollowingclearancesforeaseofinstallation,properair

Yourrefrigeratorshouldbepositionedtoalloweasyaccesstoacounter
whenremovingfood.Forbestuseofdrawersandfreezerbaskets,the
refrigeratorshouldbeinapositionwhereboththerefrigeratorandfreezer
doors can be fully opened.
Guidelines for final positioning of your refrigerator:
• Allfourcornersofthecabinetmustrestrmlyontheoor.
• Thecabinetshouldbelevelatthefrontandrear.
• Thecabinetshouldtilt6.4mmfromfronttoback(toensurethat
doors close and seal properly).
• Doorsshouldalignwitheachotherandbelevel.
All of these conditions can be met by raising or
lowering the adjustable front rollers.
To level the cabinet using the front rollers:
1 Openbothdoorsandremovethetoegrillebygentlypulling
forward(seeillustration).
2 Closethedoorsanduseaat-bladescrewdriveror9.5mm(3/8
CAUTION - DO NOT install the refrigerator where the
temperature will drop below 13°C or rise above 43°C.
The compressor will not be able to maintain proper
temperatures inside the refrigerator.
DO NOT block the toe grille on the lower front of your
refrigerator. Sufficient air circulation is essential for
the proper operation of your refrigerator.
NOTE-Therefrigeratordoorsaredesignedtoshutbythemselves
withina20degreeopening.

1 Iftherefrigeratordoorislowerthanthefreezerdoor,raisethe
refrigeratordoorbyturningtheadjustmentscrewclockwiseusing

2 Ifthefreezerdoorislowerthantherefrigeratordoor,raisethe
freezerdoorbyturningtheadjustmentscrewclockwiseusinga11
mmsocketwrench.(Seeillustration.)
3 Afterleveling,verifydoorstopcontactslowerhingeandtopof
doordoesnotcontactupperhingethroughfullmovementofdoor
(fromfullyclosedtofullyopen).
4 Replacethetoegrillebyttingitintoplace.
