are operating correctly.
Important-Toturnoffpowertoyourrefrigerator,unplugthe
power cord from the wall outlet.
• Ifthepowercordisdamaged,itshouldbereplacedbythe
manufacturer,servicetechnicianoraqualiedpersontoprevent
any risk.
• Neverunplugtherefrigeratorbypullingonthepowercord.Always
griptheplugrmly,andpullstraightoutfromthereceptacleto
preventdamagingthepowercord.
• Unplugtherefrigeratorbeforecleaningandbeforereplacinga
lightbulbtoavoidelectricalshock.
• Performancemaybeaffectedifthevoltagevariesby10%or
more.Operatingtherefrigeratorwithinsufcientpowercan
damagethecompressor.Suchdamageisnotcoveredunderyour
warranty.
• Donotplugtheunitintoanoutletcontrolledbyawallswitch
orpullcordtopreventtherefrigeratorfrombeingturnedoff
accidentally.

INSTALLATION / REMOVING THE DOORS

Before starting the refrigerator, follow these important first steps.
Location
• Chooseaplacethatisnearagroundedelectricaloutlet.Do Not
useanextensioncordoranadapterplug.
• Ifpossible,placetherefrigeratoroutofdirectsunlightandaway
fromtherange,dishwasherorotherheatsources.
• Therefrigeratormustbeinstalledonaoorthatisleveland
strongenoughtosupportafullyloadedrefrigerator.
• Considerwatersupplyavailabilityformodelsequippedwithan
automatic ice maker.

• Allowthefollowingclearancesforeaseofinstallation,properair
circulation,andplumbingandelectricalconnections:

Door opening
Yourrefrigeratorshouldbepositionedtoalloweasyaccesstoacounter
whenremovingfood.Forbestuseofdrawersandfreezerbaskets,the
refrigeratorshouldbeinapositionwhereboththerefrigeratorandfreezer
doors can be fully opened.
Guidelines for final positioning of your refrigerator:
• Allfourcornersofthecabinetmustrestrmlyontheoor.
• Thecabinetshouldbelevelatthefrontandrear.
• Thecabinetshouldtilt6.4mmfromfronttoback(toensurethat
doors close and seal properly).
• Doorsshouldalignwitheachotherandbelevel.
All of these conditions can be met by raising or
lowering the adjustable front rollers.
To level the cabinet using the front rollers:
1 Openbothdoorsandremovethetoegrillebygentlypulling
forward(seeillustration).
2 Closethedoorsanduseaat-bladescrewdriveror9.5mm(3/8
CAUTION - DO NOT install the refrigerator where the
temperature will drop below 13°C or rise above 43°C.
The compressor will not be able to maintain proper
temperatures inside the refrigerator.
DO NOT block the toe grille on the lower front of your
refrigerator. Sufficient air circulation is essential for
the proper operation of your refrigerator.
NOTE-Therefrigeratordoorsaredesignedtoshutbythemselves
withina20degreeopening.

To level the doors using the adjustable lower hinge (some models):
1 Iftherefrigeratordoorislowerthanthefreezerdoor,raisethe
refrigeratordoorbyturningtheadjustmentscrewclockwiseusing
a11mmsocketwrench.(Seeillustration.)
2 Ifthefreezerdoorislowerthantherefrigeratordoor,raisethe
freezerdoorbyturningtheadjustmentscrewclockwiseusinga11
mmsocketwrench.(Seeillustration.)
3 Afterleveling,verifydoorstopcontactslowerhingeandtopof
doordoesnotcontactupperhingethroughfullmovementofdoor
(fromfullyclosedtofullyopen).
4 Replacethetoegrillebyttingitintoplace.
