The Protect B is made up of state-of-the-art, low-wear components and
is practically maintenance-free as a result. However, in order to ensure
its constant availability and operational safety, we recommend carrying
out visual inspections and clearing dust from the air inlets/outlets on a
regular basis (at least every 6 months).
Caution!
Work area protection and safety regulations must be observed.
10.1 CHARGING THE BATTERY
Regardless of the operating mode, the battery is charged automatically
when the device is connected to the mains. The full charging time for
the battery is approx. 6 hours.

During visual inspections, check for:
• Mechanical damage or foreign bodies in the system
• Conductive dirt or dust deposits in the device
• Dust deposits that could impair heat supply and dissipation
