2 Safety instructions for rechargeable li-ion
batteries
2.1 Danger
Rechargeable li-ion batteries can explode or catch fire if used improperly. The ingredients of the li-
ion batteries can be dangerous to health.
2.2 Proper use
To use the li-ion batteries safely please consider the following points:
- Do not expose to high temperatures, flames or acid fluids
- Do not short circuit
- Do not open, puncture or crush
- Remove rings, watches or objects with metal parts when you handle rechargeable li-ion
batteries (high short-circuit current can cause severe burns)
- Keep dry
- Do not use defect, deformed, or bloated rechargeable li-ion batteries
- Only use approved battery charger
- Rechargeable li-ion batteries have a higher voltage than normal AA batteries. Use
rechargeable li-ion batteries only in approved devices, unapproved devices can be damaged.
