Typical reading distance ranges for FDX ear tags of 30mm
diameter to about 25 cm; for FDX implantable transponder of
2,2mm diameter to about 15 cm.
HDX type transponder of the same dimensions yield about
20% more reading distance.
These values are valid only, if there is no electromagnetic in-
terference.
