4.1.4 Advantech Tools
There are several useful programs in the Advantech program. Please go to
“Start”, “Programs”, “Advantech” to run the tools as shown in Figure
4.17. The tools include: “ActiveSync”, “Registry Editor”, “Registry
Saver”, “Remote Display Application”, "Touch Screen Calibration",
“TPC CE Notepad”, “TPC Configurator” and “TPC Version Informa-
tion”.

TouchScreen
The touch screen calibration can be executed by opening “Start”, “Pro-
grams”, “Advantech”, “Touch Screen Calibration” as shown in Figure
4.18.

As shown in the Figure 4.19, the screen will turn to white. An arrow
appears at the upper end of the screen. Use a stylus or finger to touch the
end point. When the end point is touched, the arrow moves to different
positions of the screen. Continue to touch the end point of the arrows to
complete the calibration.
Note Do NOT try to calibrate with the stylus in the
control panel.
