Using the 1D Barcode Scanner
Activating the Barcode Scanner
1. Tap on the system tray.
2. On the pop-up menu, tap SerialKB Startup Setup.
3. On the SerialKB Setting screen, tap Execute.
4. Close the screen. The icon is displayed on the system
tray.
5. Double tap icon to display the SerialKB screen.
6. Select the following options:
• CommPort: COM2
• BaudRate: 19200
7. Tap OK.
Testing the Barcode Scanner
After activation, test if the MSR is working properly.
1. Tap Start > All Programs > Accessories > Notepad to open
the Notepad application.
