D.1 Input Power
This chapter describes how to choose a suitable power supply for this board. The
guideline is as follows.
D.1.1 Power Supply selection
The power supply which we select should have over-current protection and the over-
current protection value of the power supply must meet 1.5~2 times of the total power
consumption.
D.1.2 Power requirement of power supply
When trying to find a suitable power supply, consider not only this board power con-
sumption but you also need to consider the total system power requirements. The
power requirement is based on system configuration. For example, Total power
requirement = CPU board + peripheral (USB) + system device (IDE, SATA HD) + add
on card.
D.1.3 Rising time
(1) ATX: Power Rising Time (T=0.1mS ~ 20mS)
(2) AT: Power Rising Time (T=5mS ~ 15mS)
