Speed Mode Selection
T he PCL-846 emplo ys a unique speed option tha t allo ws the user to
choose either nor mal speed mode (1x) or high speed mode (8x). T his
high speed mode is selected using switch S1.
Normal Speed Mode (S1, default)
T o select a baud r ate commonl y associa ted with COM por ts , such as
2400, 4800, 9600. . .115.2 Kbps, set the switch labelled "SPEED" to
off, as shown:

To increase the normal baud rates by eight times, (e.g. if 115.2 Kbps
is set, the baud rate wil be increased to 921.6 Kbps), set the switch
labelled "SPEED" to on, as shown:
