Chapter 5 Calibration
The PCIE-1744 has been calibrated at the factory for initial use. You are
not required to calibrate the PCIE-1744 in normal conditions. However, if
calibration is required, the procedure shown in the next pages will show
how it is done.
To perform an effective calibration, prepare a standard 4-1/2 digits reso-
lution, stable and low-noise DC voltage source. It is important as the
accuracy of the device will depend on the accuracy of the DC source.
5.1 Calibration Procedure
Step 1: Click the Setup button on the Advantech Device Manager win-
dow (Fig.5-1) to launch the PCIE-1744 Device Setting window.
