Appendix B Pin Assignments of Cable
PCL-10268
The PCL-10268 is a 100-pin to two 68-pin SCSI cable designed for the
PCI-1753/1753E. It divides signals from one 100-pin SCSI connector to
two 68-pin SCSI connectors. For easy signal wiring, you can use the
PCL-10268 to connect the PCI-1753 directly to two ADAM-3968 wiring
modules. If you are considering the use of 50-pin daughter boards for
signal conditioning, you can connect the 68-pin SCSI connector of the
PCL-10268 to a ADAM-3968/50 adapter module. This ADAM-3968/50
can convert the 68-pin SCSI connector to two opto-22 compatible 50-pin
box headers so that you can connect the PCI-1753/1753E to any 50-pin
daughter boards, such as PCLD-782B and PCLD-785B.
See the pin assignments next page to find how the signals from the
100-pin connector of the PCI-1753/1753E are divided and delivered to
two 68-pin connectors of Advantech’s wiring modules, such as
ADAM-3968 and ADAM-3968/50.
CON0 is the female connector of the PCI-1753 corresponding to the
100-pin SCSI male connector of the PCL-10268. CON1 and CON2 are
also female connectors corresponding to the two 68-pin SCSI male
connectors of the PCL-10268.
