Safety Instructions
1. Read t hese saf et y inst ruct ions carefully.
2. Keep t his user manual for lat er ref erence.
3. Disconnect t his equipment from AC out l et before cleaning. Do not use liquid or
spray det ergent s f or cl eaning.
4. For pl ug-in equipment , t he power out let socket must be locat ed
near t he equipment and must be easily accessible.
5. Keep t his equipment away f rom humidit y.
6. Put t his equipment on a rel iable surface during inst allat ion.
Dropping it or lett ing it f all could cause damage.
7. The openings on t he enclosure are for air convect ion. Prot ect t he equipment
from overheating. DO NOT COVER THE OPENINGS.
8. Do not l eave t his equipment in an environment uncondit ioned where t he
st orage t emperat ure under -20C or above 60C, it may damage t he
equipment .
9. Make sure t he volt age of t he power source is correct before connect ing t he
equipment t o t he power out let .
10. Place t he power cord such a way t hat people cannot st ep on it . Do not place
anyt hing over t he power cord. The vol t age and current rat ing of t he cord
should be great er t han t he volt age and current rat ing marked on t he product .
11. Al l caut ions and warnings on t he equipment should be not ed.
12. If t he equipment is not used for long t ime, disconnect it f rom t he power
source to avoid being damaged by t ransient over-volt age.
13. Never pour any liquid int o vent ilat ion openings. This could cause fire or
elect rical shock.
14. Never open t he equipment . For saf et y reasons, t he equipment should be
opened only by qualified service personnel.
15. If any of t he following sit uat ions arises, get t he equipment checked by service
personnel:
a. The power cord or plug is damaged.
b. Liquid has penet rat ed int o t he equipment .
c. The equipment has been exposed t o moist ure.
d. The equipment does not work well or you cannot get it t o work according t o
user manual.
e. The equipment has been dropped and damaged.
f. The equipment has obvious signs of breakage.
16. CAUTION: The comput er is provided wit h a bat t ery-powered real-t ime clock
circuit . There is a danger of explosion if bat t ery is incorrect ly replaced.
Repl ace only wit h same or equival ent t ype recommended by t he manuf act ure.
Discard used bat t eries according t o t he manuf act urers inst ruct ions.
17. If your comput er is losing t ime signif icantl y or t he BIOS conf igurat ion reset s
it self t o t he def ault , t he bat t ery may have no power.
