2. 1 Connect ing t he Power
Bef ore you can use your MIT-W101-A, you must f ull y charge t he bat t ery. Connect t he
power adapt er as shown and leave to charge for:
• A minimum of 2 hours when using t he int ernal bat t ery
• A minimum of 4 hours when a second bat t ery is inst alled
Condit ion: t he operat ion t ime is based on t he LCD backl ight at 50% and t he average
ut ilizat ion of t he syst em under 10%.
Inst allation Procedures:
1. Connect t he female end of t he power adapt er t o t he DC-in of MIT-W101-A.
2. Connect t he female end of t he power cord t o t he DC power adapt er.
3. Connect t he 3-pin mal e pl ug of t he power cord t o an el ect rical out l et .
NOTE: Be sure always handl e t he power cords by hol ding t he pl ug ends only.

You can connect t he MIT-W101-A to an ext ernal monit or f or enhanced viewing.
Connect one end of a HDMI t o VGA cable t o t he Micro HDMI port on t he left side of
t he MIT-W101-A.Connect t he ot her end t o t he VGA cabl e and connect t o t he
monit or.
