2.4.1 CPU Configuration

2.4.1.1 Max CPUID Value Limit
It is recommended that you leave this value at the default setting of Disabled.
Please note that this BIOS feature currently only allows the Intel Pentium 4 processor
with Hyper-Threading Technology to work with operating systems that do not support
extra CPUID information provided by the processor.
2.4.1.2 Core Multi-Processing
This item specifies the CPU to perform multi-processing. The default setting for this
item is set to “Enabled“.
2.4.1.3 CPU TM function
This item specifies the Thermal Monitor Feature. If set to “Enabled,” the BIOS
enables the CPU's built in automatic thermal throttling when the die temperature is
very near to the temperature limits of the processor. If set to “Disabled” the BIOS dis-
ables this feature and the MIC-3392 will shut off automatically if the CPU overheats.
The default setting is “Enabled”.
