Getting Started Powering Up

Use the stylus or your finger tip to select from the Module buttons.

3.1.2 Verdict Toolbar

Operation of the toolbar buttons located on the lower-left corner of the screen are described in the

table below:

3.1.3 Windows Toolbar

This is the standard Windows XPe toolbar. Your VERUS unit is a fully functional personal

computer based on the Windows XPe operating system. Refer to Microsoft documentation for

additional information.

Scanner

Configures the unit to operate as a

scan tool.

System Properties

Opens a window that contains details

about the configuration of your

VERDICT system.

Exit

Closes the VERDICT diagnostic

Platform software and returns to the

Windows desktop.

Home

Touching this button returns you to the

VERDICT Home screen from any test.

Windows Toolbar

Touching this button opens and closes

the standard Windows toolbars at the

top and bottom of the screen.

Touching this button opens a menu that

provides information on the screen

being viewed.
