Chapter 5 Web Configuration
Operation Mode: The EKI-132x supports 2 types of operation modes. You may
choose from Networking and SMS. The configuration of Network operation mode is
described as follow. The configuration of SMS operation mode will be introduced in
Chapter 4.8.6.
SIM1/2: Enable/Disable SIM Card 1 or SIM Card 2
Authorization: Select authentication type PAP, CHAP or No Auth
User Name: Enter User Name for your mobile connection
Password: Enter Password for your mobile connection
PIN Number: The pin number of SIM card. The default code is set by the Service
Provider. Note that a cell phone must be used to change the PIN. (Warning: if the
entered PIN will be wrong, the SIM card will be locked)
APN: Before using the GPRS/UMTS/HSDPA also need APN (Access Point Name)
must be added as a modem initialization command.
Phone Number: Use this field to configure the number used to dial out.
Ping Interval: This field is the time interval of the periodically ping function. It can
use this field to keep the connection without lost.
5.8 Port Configuration
There are Basic, Operation Mode, and Advanced Settings in the serial port configura-
tion. There are various operation modes that are suitable for different application.
