Default Gateway(default=255.255.255.255): Enter the IP address of the gateway if
applicable. A gateway is a network computer that acts as an entrance to another net-
work. Usually, the computers that control traffic within the network or at the local
Internet service provider are gateway nodes. The EKI-132x needs to know the IP
address of the default gateway computer in order to communicate with the hosts out-
side the local network environment. For correct gateway IP address information, con-
sult the network administrator.
DNS Settings: In order to use the DNS feature, you need to set the IP address of the
DNS server to be able to access the host with the domain name. The EKI-152X
series serial device server provides Primary DNS Server and Secondary DNS Server
configuration items to set the IP address of the DNS server. Secondary DNS Server
is included for use when Primary DNS server is unavailable.
DNS server 1: This is an optional field. If your network has access to a DNS server,
you may enter the DNS server's IP address in this field. This allows the EKI-132x to
use domain names instead of IP addresses to access hosts.
DNS server 2: This is an optional field. The IP address of another DNS server may
be entered in this field for times when DNS server 1 is unavailable.
DHCP Timeout: When you enabling DHCP protocol to get IP address, it will be
waited DHCP server to give IP within DHCP timeout. The default value is 180 sec-
onds.

GPRS/3G Configuration: From the left navigation panel, click Ethernet Configura-
tion ' GPRS/3G to configure the GSM/GPRS/SMS Settings. The various configura-
