Lists are indicated with bullet points, for example:

Instructions are numbered, for example:
1. Insert a CD.

Key display
Key names are shown in angle brackets: <F1>, <Ctrl>, <Insert>, <Home>, etc.
Menu options, commands, dialog fields
Examples: In the Edit menu you will find the command Paste | Values.
Click OK to finish.
