2.3.9 COM 4 Connector: RS-232/422/485 port

The COM 4 serial communication interface port can be configured to

support RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 interface functionality by adjusting

the BIOS setting.

The default setting of COM 4 is RS-232. The RS-422/485 mode of COM

4 can be configured via adjusting “COM 4 Mode” of “Integrated Periph-

erals” at the BIOS setting. Please refer to Chapter 3 “Hardware installa-

tion and upgrade” and Chapter 4 “Award BIOS Setup” to select.
