2.3.6 Reset Button

Press the "Reset" button to activate the reset function.

2.3.7 COM 1 Connector: Standard RS-232 port

The ARK-3383 provides a D-sub 9-pin connector, which offers one stan-

dard RS-232 serial communication interface port of COM 1.

2.3.8 COM 3 Connector: RS-232/422/485 port

The COM 3 serial communication interface port can be configured to

support RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 interface functionality by adjusting

the BIOS setting.

The default setting of COM 3 is RS-232. The RS-422/485 mode of COM

3 can be configured via adjusting “COM 3 Mode” of “Integrated Periph-

erals” at the BIOS setting. Please refer to Chapter 3 “Hardware installa-

tion and upgrade” and Chapter 4 “Award BIOS Setup” to select.
