3.6 Installing the DDR SDRAM Memory Module
The ARK-3382 provides one 200-pin SODIMM (Small Outline Dual
Inline Memory Module) socket and supports 2.5V DDR SDRAM. You
can install from 64 MB to 1 GB of DDR SDRAM memory. The proce-
dure of installing a DDR SDRAM SODIMM into the ARK-3382 is
detailed below, please follow these steps carefully.
1. Remove the power cord.
2. Unscrew the four screws from the bottom cover of the ARK-3382.
3. Remove the bottom cover.
4. Plug a DDR SDRAM SODIMM memory module into a DDR 200-
pin SODIMM socket on board.
5. Screw back the bottom cover with four screws.
3.7 Inserting a Compact Flash Card
The procedure of installing a Compact Flash card into the ARK-3382 is
detailed below, please follow these steps carefully.
1. Remove the power cord.
2. Unscrew the two screws from the CF Door located on rear face
plate of the ARK-3382 series embedded box computer.
