2.3.3 COM2 Connector

The ARK-3382 provides a D-sub 9-pin connector, which offers one RS-

232/422/485 serial communication interface port of COM2. The default

setting of COM1 is RS-232. Please refer to section 4.1 “Jumper Settings”

and section 6 “Full Disassembly Procedure” to set up RS-422 or RS-485.

The RS-422/485 mode of COM2 can be supported via replacing the

internal COM 2 cable and using the new cable (Part Number of

1700001967), and adjusting the jumper inside of the system. The new

cable (pn.1700001967) has been stored in the accessory box of the prod-

uct carton.
