Chapter 3 Operation
3.4 Cleaning the Filters
The filters function to block dust or particles from the work environment and to extend
the longevity of the system. Periodic filter cleaning is recommended. There are two
filters in the chassis: one is in front of the system fans and the other is behind the
front door. To clean the filters, proceed as follows:
1. Open the front door.
2. To remove the door filter, simply push the hook and pull it out.
3. To pull out the fan filter, push the hook and slide it to the right. (see Figure 3.8)
4. Clean the filter with a soft brush or wash the dust away from the filter with flow-
ing water and let it dry thoroughly.
5. Replace the filters inside the unit.
